Positive pic of the week #7
My positive pic this week is cake.
I don't really need to say anymore than that... who doesn't love cake?
Yesterday was my daughters birthday party and with it being a tea party we had to have lots and lots of cakes, some were homemade and some were shop bought. I am really disappointed in myself for not making a big Alice in wonderland creation but I just didn't know where to start... definitely need more practice!

Mealplan Monday - 05/05/14
Last week wasn't a great week for my mealplan, I seemed to have neglected it a bit. I even went to McDonald's yesterday... Shocking I know. What is even more shocking is the amount of people that were there, I mean does nobody have the traditional Sunday meal anymore?
Anyway, I have already been shopping so there is no reason for me not to follow my mealplan this week so this is what we are having...
Monday - French bread pizzas and salad
Tuesday - Chicken wraps with sweet and sour sauce
Wednesday - Fish pie
Thursday - Curry and rice
Friday - Pasta with tomato and garlic sauce
Saturday - Birthday party food
Sunday - Traditional Sunday roast (no more McDonald's)

Positive pic of the week #6
This weeks positive pic is of one of my little Kitty's.
My cat has had kittens before and whenever she does we always become attached to them. This time there is a litter of six and they are just about ready for their new homes so we have been enjoying our last week with them. To be honest, although they are the cutest little things ever, they tend to take over the house, running up and down the stairs at all hours of the night and following me around everywhere so I do find it peaceful when they have gone. I suppose it's the fact that there are so many that make them quite overwhelming but when they are on their own or all huddled up together asleep, they are so sweet!
What has put a smile on your face this week?

Word of the week - Enervated
I know its Friday night and I am bound to be tired but getting back into the swing of things has definitely taken its toll on me... When are the next holidays again?
I have been getting into bed by 8 o'clock and my legs are aching! (yes, definitely back to reality) I have also been planning my daughter's Alice in Wonderland themed birthday party for next weekend, complete with all the tea party food' including a whole set of pick'n'mix, croquet in the garden, (oh yes I really need to sort that out) a craft table and the movie for all 13 girls to watch. Thank goodness there is an extra day off next week!!
It's a short post as I am feeling enervated!
The word enervated means deprived of strength or vitality and comes from the Latin word enervare - to remove the nerves from.

Beauty product of the month - April
With the sun now making an appearance I have seen quite a few ladies rocking their sandals and showing off their tootsies. My feet are not quite ready to be aired but I'm sure after a couple of applications of this heel genius from Soap and Glory they will be ready to roam free!
The cream is a green colour and not too heavy consistency, it has a pleasant smell and like other foot creams it has that powdery feeling, although it does dry quickly.
I have never had a proper pedicure and probably wont get one anytime in the near future (will have to add it to my bucketlist) so for now this fruity foot cream will have to do. Lets just hope the sun stays around long enough to get the flip flops out!
What beauty products are you using to get summer ready?
